Downtown Macon offers something for the entire family to enjoy, furry friends included! Now that school’s out for summer, NewTown Macon invites your family to explore all downtown has to offer and win prizes in the process by completing our Downtown Macon Family-Friendly Passport! The Downtown Macon Family-Friendly Passport features 12 activities families can enjoy that will keep everyone entertained.

Here’s how to complete the passport and win prizes: 

1. Complete the activities listed in the passport. 

2. Post a photo or video of you and your family on Facebook or Instagram completing the activity. 

3. Use #downtownmacon in your post. 

4. Write an “X” over each activity as you complete it for the chance to win prizes!

Pick up a prize packet from NewTown Macon during August’s Family Fun Zone from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, August 6. Plus, you’ll be entered to win a $100 gift card to the downtown business of your choice!

Passports will be available to pick up at the Family Fun Zone during June First Friday on Friday, June 4 from 5pm to 8pm. The Family Fun Zone is located in Third Street Park between Cherry Street and Poplar Street, in front of Piedmont Brewery and Kitchen. Passports will also be available to download on this page starting June 4.

Lawn games will be set up for the whole family, local artist Rhonda Miller will offer crafts for the kids, and the Middle Georgia Regional Library’s Without Walls will be there to sign the kids up for summer reading and to offer literacy-based activities at the Family Fun Zone.
