Okmulgee to Ocmulgee: Rekindling the Fires Opening Reception

Bright City returns for a fourth year! This year’s exhibition will feature five Muscogee and Yuchi artists expressing their homecoming from Oklahoma to their ancestral lands here in Macon. This collection is curated by Tracie Revis of the Muscogee Nation and presented by NewTown Macon & Dashboard.
We are excited to kick-off the 30th annual Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration with the opening of this year’s special edition exhibit. This year’s annual Celebration will include over 150 members of the Muscogee and Yuchi tribes.
Please join us on Thursday, September 15 at 6:30 at NewTown Macon Headquarters (555 Poplar Street) for the opening reception of Rekindling The Fires. These photos will be displayed in downtown Macon through July 2023.
