This nationally recognized light show takes place every night in the heart of downtown Macon. Experience 1,00,000+ lights moving in time to music arranged and performed by Macon Pops in historic downtown Macon. Nightly shows from 6-10 pm (6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm, & 9 pm). Lights stay on (without motion or music) from 10-11pm each night.
This event is FREE & open to the public! Check their website to learn more about events happening on the weekends, like Selfies with Santa and Carriage Rides! Don't miss the opening night on November 28, which features a live performance from Macon Pops on Poplar Street Park!
Join us at Fall Line Brewing Co. at 6:00 PM for the tree lighting ceremony! This year, Fairytales and Friends will have their Frozen-inspired characters dressed in festive attire for photos! Enjoy arts and crafts, hot cocoa, and cookies from Sweet Eleanor's, and live music from Reese Soul!
Then head to Third Street Park at 7:00 PM for free holiday movie classics Frosty's Winter Wonderland and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer projected on the Bibb Theatre. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for a cozy evening under the stars!

The annual Favorite Things exhibit features holiday ornaments & assorted artwork for $100 and under by local artists. A variety of art pieces & fine crafts will be available for the holiday season, including pottery, small paintings, handmade jewelry, stained glass, and more.
This show is a great opportunity to discover art on a budget, add locally made pieces to your holiday decor, and find unique gifts for everyone on your list.

Experience over 1 million lights dancing in time to Christmas carols performed live at a Macon Pops concert at First and Poplar Streets in downtown! Then every day after, you can see the Macon Christmas Light Extravaganza light show starting at 6:00 PM with music restarting at the top of every hour. This nationally recognized light show runs through January 4.

Macon's inaugural European-inspired Christmas market brings 10 days of holiday magic to Cherry Street Plaza! Enjoy live music nightly at 6:00 PM, browse 20 artisan vendor booths, sip traditional German Glühwein and craft beer, savor festive bites, explore the family fun zone, and pick out your perfect live Christmas tree.

Macon Christmas Parade, Downtown Macon, December 7 at 4 PM
Celebrate the season at Macon's favorite holiday tradition! More than 60 units including marching bands, community organizations, performers, and Santa will parade through downtown. This free, family-friendly event begins at Poplar and 5th Street, travels down Cherry Street, and continues along 2nd Street and Mulberry before finishing on MLK Boulevard.

Help save Christmas at Fall Line Brewing's Grinch Bar Crawl! The Grinch has stolen all the presents in downtown Macon, and only you can get them back. Crawl from bar to bar collecting stolen presents, sipping Grinch-themed cocktails, and spreading holiday mischief.
