Legends & Lore Tours at Hay House

 October 17, 24 & 30 | 6:00 PM

Experience one of Architectural Digest's "13 Most Beautiful Haunted Destinations Around the World" after dark! This spine-tingling tour takes you behind the scenes at the historic Hay House, where you'll hear tales of unexplained noises, mysterious lights, and real-life ghost sightings.

Arrive early for complimentary spirits (wine, beer, or soda) and explore the ground level before your 90-minute tour begins at 6:00 PM sharp.

Haunts & History on the Hill

October 25, 27 & 29

Take a walking ghost tour through Macon's haunted Intown neighborhood! Learn the history of College Hill Corridor's historic structures and hear spine-tingling tales of the spirits that inhabit them. This tour highlights ghost stories and legends surrounding some of Macon's most haunted buildings.

Shuster's will have Halloween specials Friday, October 24, through Friday, October 31. You can find the new ice cream and candy store at 616 Poplar Street.

Here's the New Sweet & Spooky Menu:

Eye Scream Cones – any flavor scoop in a frosted sugar cone, loaded with candy eyes. $6.50

Spooky Sammies – 2-scoop ice cream sandwiches rolled in Halloween sprinkles. $7.50

Cemetery Sundae – 3 scoops buried under whipped cream, Oreo “dirt” crumbles, gummy worms, candy pumpkins, and headstone waffle cone cookies. $12

Stranger Things Bar Crawl

October 22 |  6:00 PM

Will Byers is missing, and only YOU can save him! Crawl through downtown Hawkins (er, Macon ) to uncover glowing letters from Joyce's wall and piece together the secret password. Crack the code to unlock the portal to the Upside Down, where a Stranger Things-themed DJ keeps the party going all night.

Along the way, sip Hawkins-inspired cocktails, dodge Demogorgons, and show off your best '80s or Stranger Things cosplay—from Scoops Ahoy uniforms to Eleven's iconic look.

2nd Annual Boos & Booze Halloween Bar Crawl

November 1 | 10+ Downtown Bars

The party doesn't stop on October 31st! The 2nd Annual Boos & Booze Halloween Bar Crawl returns bigger, spookier, and more BOOzy than ever. Crawl through 10+ haunted hotspots, summon spirits (both kinds!), and compete in the costume contest for cash prizes.

Gimme Gimme Disco Party at Capitol

Calling all Dancing Queens! Here we go again! If you can’t get enough ABBA then do we have the dance party for you. We are a DJ-based dance party playing all your favorite ABBA hits, plus plenty of other disco hits from the 70s & 80's like The Bee Gees, Donna Summer, & Cher (DISCO ATTIRE ENCOURAGED). So honey honey, take-a-chance and you’ll be dancing all night long. Grab tickets, bring your friends, and have the best night of your life!

There will be a costume contest with cash prize at the event as well. This is an all-ages event.

18th Annual Thriller Parade

October 25 | Downtown Macon | Pre-Show 7 pm, Parade 9 pm

Middle Georgia's largest Halloween street party is back! Hayiya Dance Theatre's Annual Thriller Parade brings thousands to downtown Macon to watch 100+ zombie dancers recreate Michael Jackson's iconic "Thriller."

This family-friendly event features a fantastic 2-hour pre-show and a street afterparty. Thriller is a Party With A Purpose, supporting Breast Cancer Awareness initiatives.

Downtown Trick-or-Treat Spooktacular

October 31 |  4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Calling all ghouls, goblins, and little monsters! Downtown Macon's businesses are rolling out the orange carpet for the most fang-tastic trick-or-treating experience in town. Start at the Otis Redding Center for the Arts outdoor amphitheater for a map of businesses and we will be passing out plenty of candy!

Classics at The Bibb - Clue Screening

Movies are returning to The Bibb! The historic Bibb Theatre, which closed over 40 years ago, comes alive again as we celebrate the 49th anniversary of the classic film Clue. Watch the movie projected onto the theater's façade in Third Street Park.
