SPECIAL EVENTS
- Downtown Macon French Fry Fight: Get ready for a fry-tastic celebration in Downtown Macon –now three days long! Join us from July 9th to July 11th where participating restaurants will serve up their best and most creative fry specials. After you try each mouthwatering fry creation, be sure to cast your vote for the top contender. The restaurant with the most votes will be crowned the Super Spud! - Visit Macon Film Tour Debut: Hop into our comfy van and buckle up for an unforgettable ride through Macon’s star-studded streets! You’ll cruise past iconic film locations like the dazzling Douglass Theatre, the grand old Capitol Theater, and the majestic Terminal Station—each transformed by the silver screen in films like The Color Purple (2023) with Taraji P. Henson, 42 starring Chadwick Boseman, A Jazzman’s Blues by Tyler Perry, The Best of Enemies, HBO’s Watchmen, Superman, Wise Blood, and more. Along the way, you’ll uncover behind-the-scenes stories, filming secrets, and the Southern charm that keeps Hollywood coming back to Macon again and again. - Visit Macon will screen 42 in the Steven Fulbright Theater located inside the Visitor Information Center on July 11th. The movie starts at 4:30. They will serve popcorn, and attendees can enter to win a free Rock and Soul Tour for two people!
- Good Medicine: Superhero Edition: Head to Third Street Park, from 6PM-8 PM, to celebrate the release of Superman, which was filmed here in Macon! This event features a silent disco with family-friendly playlists, face painting and live art, make-your-own superhero masks and crafts, flow arts, and interactive activities! Photo ops and costumes encouraged!

ART & THEATRE
- Theatre Macon (438 Cherry St) 8PM
AREA PREMIERE of The Prince of Egypt at Theatre Macon on July 11th! Synopsis: Journey through the wonders of Ancient Egypt as Ramses and Moses, two young men raised together as brothers in a kingdom of privilege, find themselves suddenly divided by a secret past. One must rule as Pharaoh, the other must rise up and free his true people; both face a destiny that will change history forever.

- McEachern Art Center (332 2nd St), 6-8 pm
The McEachern has their summer group exhibition titled “ENTITIES” featuring four Georgia based artists: Jackson Griffith, Sierra Bush, Anna Noel, and Chris Friday.
- Lore Gallery (505 2nd St) 4PM-7PM
Lore Gallery will be open late from 4PM-7PM and is also offering guests wine and a 10% off discount! They have a wide range of handcrafts from the indigenous people of the rainforests of Panama and Colombia up through the Andes of Ecuador.

FOOD & DRINK
- Warped Pour is happening at Fall Line! Here’s how you can get in on the action: Grab your punchcard at the taproom—this is your ticket to the show! Every Friday, get a pint of the week’s new Warped Pour release. Get a punch for each sour you try! Complete all 8 punches by July 17th, and you’ll score a limited-edition Fall Line Warped Pour shirt to wear proudly, just like your favorite band tee.
- Longleaf Distillery is introducing "Appy Hour!" Get the snack of the month for 50% off from 4pm to 7pm. They also have introduced a brand new Light Drinks section to the menu — think easy-sipping, sunshine-ready cocktails perfect for warm days and good hangs.
-Rose Room has a new happy hour menu! Swing by between 5pm and 7pm to sip on happy hour specials!

- Zach Butler will play the Just Tap'd stage from 5pm to 8pm as part of the Bragg Jam Summer Music Series!

- Jared Petteys & The Headliners perform live at The Hummingbird at 9:30PM to 1PM!
- The Basement Club plays on The Wheelhouse Rooftop Bar at Kudzu Seafood Company from 7PM to 10PM!
- Grab your trivia hat for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures Trivia Night at Hello Boba starting at 6PM!
