Join us for a holly and jolly celebration of the holiday season in Downtown Macon!
Get into the festive spirit with your community at our Christmas in Downtown event. From 2 PM to 8 PM, downtown will be brimming with holiday cheer. Our event headquarters will be in Cotton Avenue Plaza, where you’ll discover a winter wonderland filled with activities, photo opportunities, and even snow! 
Starting at 6 PM, treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of our fantastic local restaurants, all within walking distance of First St., before heading over to Poplar St. for the Macon Christmas Light Extravaganza!
We will have two stages with live performances.
1. The JOLLY JUST TAP’D STAGE corner of First & Poplar:
2pm – Wesleyan College Student Performance featuring Annie Smith (vocals), Tiara Thomas (vocals), and Emily Hilton (piano)
3pm – MLK Elementary Recorder Ensemble
4pm – ACE Chorus
5pm – Northeast Gospel Choir
2. The ROOKERY REINDEER STAGE Cherry Street:
2:30pm – Redeemer Lutheran Church
3:30pm – Vineville Academy Second Grade Primary Chorus
4:30pm – Central High School Charger Orchestra Ensemble
5:30pm – Springdale Sound
