Back in downtown Macon: Classics at the Bibb! In 1938, The Bibb Theatre opened on Third Street in downtown Macon. The once-450-seat movie theater has been closed for over 40 years, but now movies are returning to the Bibb!
On Sunday, October 20, at 7:30pm, head to Third Street Park to see Night of the Living Dead projected onto the theater’s façade. Bring a chair or picnic blanket and enjoy your time watching a classic movie.
Before the movie starts, enjoy a special performance from the live shadow cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show! It’s time to do the time warp!
This event is presented by NewTown Macon and the Macon Film Fest and made possible by the generous support of the Downtown Challenge Fund of the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, Peyton Anderson Foundation, and Knight Foundation.
