It’s back: Classics at the Bibb! In 1938, The Bibb Theatre opened in downtown Macon on Third Street. The once 450-seat movie theater has been closed for over 40 years, but this month, movies are returning to The Bibb!
On Sunday, September 22, at 8pm, head to Third Street Park to see To Wong Foo projected onto the theater’s façade. There will be free popcorn for those in attendance!
Make the most of the night by grabbing dinner from your favorite restaurant in downtown Macon. Get it before the showing, or pick up takeout and enjoy it during the movie. Be sure you bring a chair or picnic blanket to sit in during the movie!
This event is very popular so we recommend arriving early to snag your seat!!
Presented by NewTown Macon, Macon Film Fest, and Macon Pride.
