DOWNTOWN ACTIVITIES
After enjoying the fun in Third Street Park, pick up a map from NewTown Macon and take time to explore downtown Macon for more Seuss fun:
Go on a StoryWalk™ and read “The Foot Book” in the windows of downtown businesses!
Hunt for Seuss characters hidden in downtown businesses for the chance to win a $100 gift card to your favorite downtown business.
As Dr. Seuss once said, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
The StoryWalk™ Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition (VBPC) and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
