SPECIAL EVENTS
👉Bring out your pups! Downtown Macon is having an exciting new event: a Pup Cup Crawl from 5-8pm! Celebrate the roll-out of our Hype Hounds Approved program by bringing your furry friends out for an evening of tail-wagging fun in downtown Macon! 🐶✨ Pick up your passport for the crawl and learn more at the Family Fun in Mulberry Street Park, across from Robins Financial Credit Union.
👉Head to Fall Line Brewing Co for their Summer Ranch Water Series! All summer, they have released a weekly Ranch Water special. Try this weeks while you’re downtown and see what the hype is all about.
👉Quill is having an oyster pop-up with cold water oysters and rolling out their new summer cocktail menu! Plus- Matt McMillan will be playing from 6-9pm
👉The Family Fun Zone is back! Come play lawn games and hang out with NewTown and Visit Macon from 5-7pm.
👉Court of Miracles is having a silent disco in Third Street Park from 7-9pm!🪩
👉The Greater Macon Chamber is hosting a special edition B.R.E.W. from 4 – 5:30pm on the topic of Multigenerational Leadership. Leaders spanning four generations will discuss strategies for effective multigenerational leadership. Enjoy a happy hour (beer included!) followed by a panel discussion, and then head out to celebrate First Friday in downtown Macon!
👉Shop until you drop at Emerson at Plum’s Summer Pop-up Shop! Shop hours are from 4-7pm, entry is $5. 

RETAIL
👉Painted in Peaches is having a hair styling pop-up at Petals! Get a cute hair style or tinsel added to your hair all night
👉MD Exchange is celebrating 1 year of businesses! Swing by for penny deals and free giveaways to the first 50 customers. Deals from 5-8pm!
👉Rabbit Hole is open late! Shop and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine. 
👉Ridge Avenue Gardens will create book bouquets at Bear’s Books! 
👉The Vintage Thread is hosting their Back to School Bash until 7pm with discounts and Permanent Jewelry with Macon Sparx!

ART
👉Head to Macon Arts Alliance for their August show, featuring photography by Adam Smith and mixed media creations by John Mollica. The opening reception of “Goin’ Down Slow” is from 4 – 7pm featuring live guitar and harmonica performances by Brotha Ric Patton.
👉The 567 Center will have an exhibit opening of paintings by Shannon Riddle, from 5-8 pm! Stop in to see the great work and celebrate.

ENTERTAINMENT
👉 Head to JBA for a Metal show with Actus Reus, God Tongue, SPLICED, and Death of a Capulet!
👉Live at the Hummingbird: Sooza Brass Band and Jen In The Right Light, two great bands straight out of Florida! Music starts at 10pm
👉Grant’s Lounge presents: Andrew Duhon. He brings a little blues, a little folk, and all around Americana = a night of music you won’t want to miss. Doors: 8pm | Show: 9pm. Tickets are $15 in advance or at the door. 
👉Garret Cox is Live in the Courtyard at Emerson at Plum! Show starts at 8pm, tickets are $15.
