Celebrate literacy and learning as we honor Dr. Seuss’ birthday during Read Across America Week!
Join us during March First Friday for family-friendly crafts and games inspired by Dr. Seuss throughout downtown Macon! Visit NewTown Macon’s First Friday Family Fun Zone in Third Street Park (in front of Piedmont Brewery & Kitchen) for a Seuss-tastic time! From 5:30pm to 7:30pm NewTown Macon, United Way of Central Georgia, Junior League of Macon, and the Middle Georgia Regional Library will have fun and games for the whole family, including:
– music by Green Grass Green
-Seuss-themed crafts
-Library Without Walls provided by Middle Georgia Regional Library
-games and Seuss photo booth
-free book giveaway
